

Through both the Tribeca Film Fellows and Tribeca Teaches program, students from all throughout NYC created short films at the Tribeca Film Institute this spring. Whether the films depict the City through the lens of a young filmmaker or 86 middle school students create shorts about where they live and the issues they face—these films all show that our young filmmakers have quite a lot to say.

By the 2009 Tribeca Film Fellows This spring, the Tribeca Film Fellows- 20 dynamic young filmmakers who are invited to the Tribeca Film Festival for a backstage look at the Festival and the film industry at large- descended on all five boroughs to capture the essence of the city they live in. Presented as an introduction to Our City, My Story, Cityscapes introduces 11 short films which pay homage to the young filmmakers featured in the program and the city that all of them live in and love. |
