Tribeca All Access congratulates Ryan Richmond (TAA 2007 Alumni) for winning “Best Screenplay” with his script Money Matters at the 11th annual Urbanworld VIBE Film Festival.

Sponsored by HBO, the event featured five selected scripts including Money Matters which made its screenplay debut at this years’ TAA program.

Money Matters follows a troubled inner city teen trying to carve out an identity of her own, as she struggles to come to terms with her mother’s difficult past. The script, written by Ryan Richmond and slated for him to direct, also has producer Sam Pollard attached.
