Tribeca All Access (TAA) provides a forum where high-level film industry executives can meet with a diverse and exceptionally talented group of U.S.-based filmmakers. The core of the program begins with an intense six days of panels, meetings, and networking opportunities during the Tribeca Film Festival. At the conclusion of those six days, juried awards will be presented in several categories. The 2009 program will take place April 20 - 25.
Entering into its sixth year, Tribeca All Access has become a recognized talent pool within the industry. The program serves as an unrivaled platform for emerging and established filmmakers from traditionally under-represented communities in the film industry to advance their careers and potentially find funding and exposure for their feature length screenplay or documentary work-in-progress. Program alumni are eligible for year-round support through TAA OnTrack which offers educational panels and workshops; TFI hosted presentation screenings; promotional support for completed films; and the use of digital filmmaking and editing equipment.

The Gucci Tribeca Documentary Fund will provide finishing funds to documentaries that promote social change and illuminate issues in need of comprehensive coverage currently missing in mainstream media. Funded films will be driven by thoughtful, accurate and complete storytelling and an innovative approach to the use of source material, production techniques, or audience engagement.
As mainstream media moves away from in-depth coverage of world affairs, domestic issues and social conflicts, the documentary has become an important and much needed tool to draw attention to the serious issues facing our world today. At the same time, the craft of the documentary is expanding in exciting directions, merging diverse points-of-view with new technologies and responding to the immediacy of the internet.
